Over the past few weeks, CedarPeople has completed a number of property transformations in Beachlands. This Beachlands home recently received a much-needed cedar refresh. Years without staining had left the cladding vulnerable to UV damage, resulting in weathering, cupping, and early signs of splitting. Following the builder’s recommendation, the homeowner brought in CedarPeople to restore and protect the timber. We started with a gentle wash to remove the old stain, then applied two coats of premium stain—plus a third coat on areas with high sun exposure—for long-lasting protection and a renewed natural finish.
